We Couldn't Do It Without Our Parents!
PARENT VOLUNTEERS
At Kids Unlimited we value our families because we know that what we do would not be possible without the amazing parents that volunteer many hours during the summer and throughout the year for the KU2 Dance Choirs. Everything they do is important and it is especially important during the Show Camp. In just six short weeks we put on a full Broadway-style production with 32 dance and singing numbers and nearly 1,000 costumes! We provide a healthy snack bar for the kids everyday and put up 1,000 posters all over town advertising the July show. And the list goes on!
Each of our parents volunteers a minimum of 20 hours of their time to help us mount this amazing show. There are many ways to help, such as:
SETTING UP THE SCHOOL CAMPUS FOR CAMP
SEWING COSTUMES
WORKING IN THE SNACK BAR
PUTTING UP SHOW POSTERS
BUILDING SETS
AIDING BACKSTAGE
HELPING IN THE DRESSING ROOMS
CLEANING UP AFTER THE SHOW
HELPING WITH THE A FABULOUS CAST PARTY
K.U. PARENT CLUB
was formed to aide and assist with the staffing of K.U. events,
fundraising, recruiting and anything else that requires the help
of these dedicated parents. In addition to assisting the KU Board in their event and fundraising, the Parent Club will be hosting some of their own events and throwing some of their creative ideas into the ring to help make Kids Unlimited an even
better and stronger organization!

That is especially true with Kids Unlimited. We are constantly
looking for ways to simplify and improve our communication with our students and parents. The purpose of the Yahoo Group is to build a community of connected Kids Unlimited members thereby increasing goodwill throughout the community.
99% of the frustration and any negativity that comes to any organization is usually based on a gap in effective communication. Information is given to the kids but it doesn't always make it to the parents. It is easy for the core KU parents to have a full understanding of what is happening,
but for those not in the core it can be frustrating.
Besides increasing communication and minimizing parental frustration, the Yahoo Group will help foster friendships because parents will now have a way to communicate with each other more easily.
